Johnnie’s fifth Papas Fritas winning season also saw his Sofa Wreckers score their most points ever and the fourth most all-time as they put up 620 points. Two players contributed over 270 points between them, his first year Franchise man Alvin Kamara (114pts for $0.5m) and his 6th round draft pick Patrick Mahomes (164pts for $1m). With Johnnie likely to franchise Mahomes he is already a red hot favourite to repeat. Two receivers also played the whole season 3rd rounder Brandin Cooks (36pts-$1m) and 5th rounder Mike Evans (54pts-$2m). His 1st round pick (14th overall) Kenyan Drake and 2nd rounder Nelson Agholor were both cut, Drake on TD2 after scoring 30 points in 10 weeks at a cost of $1m, while Agholor only lasted 5 weeks as he scored just one TD across that time. Drake was replaced by Marlon Mack who scored 6 times over the final 7 weeks, while Agholor was replaced by Josh Gordon who scored twice before his suspension. At Trading Day 1 Johnnie upgraded his Head Coach from Detroit’s Matt Patricia to the LA Rams Sean McVay who went 8-3 for the Sofa Wreckers and Johnnie rode a triumvirate of kickers Stephen Gostkowski, Cody Parkey and Dan Bailey to total 108 kicking points. With five trades Johnnie used 13 players across the season, none of whom had previously won the Papas Fritas Trophy. All-BUMS Voting – Deadline This Thursday Thanks to those who have already voted for their favourite players of 2018. If you have not voted yet remember I need (in order) your top 3 Running Backs and top 3 Receivers plus your number 1 & 2 Quarterbacks, Kickers and Coaches. Vote for your players based on BUMS points, how much you enjoy them, what they meant to their BUMS roster/NFL team or just the fact they were on your roster. BUMS on Superbowl Seats Superbowl LIII between the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots is this Sunday February 3rd on BBC One at 10:45 with kick-off around 11.30pm and we will be watching live at BUMS HQ.
